Budget travelers visiting Tokyo can find clean, well-located hotels without breaking the bank. Areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Asakusa offer many affordable options starting around ¥6,000-¥10,000 per night. These hotels typically provide free WiFi, laundry facilities, and breakfast options. Many are steps from subway stations, making sightseeing easy.

For example, E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku sits next to Higashi-Shinjuku Station and offers a 24-hour convenience store. The Millennials Shibuya is a modern adult-only property with shared spaces and a terrace. Travelers seeking relaxation can book Onsen Ryokan Yuen Shinjuku, which features a hot spring bath and Asian breakfast. Guesthouse Toco offers a garden and a bar in a quiet setting.
