Texoma straddles the Texas-Oklahoma border, famous for Lake Texoma, one of the largest reservoirs in the U.S. The climate features hot summers (often 95°F/35°C) and mild winters (around 50°F/10°C), so you can boat or fish for striped bass on the lake during summer, while winter offers ideal conditions for hiking the Cross Timbers Trail at Eisenhower State Park. The lake draws anglers year-round, but if you visit in spring, you'll catch the peak wildflower bloom at Lake Murray State Park.
